Connecting the busyness of downtown Savannah with the calmness of Tybee Island, Frankie & June Surf Shop is a unique surf shop dedicated to more than just a shopping experience.
Leveraging hand-drawn illustrations, a type rich in quirky personality, and a vibrant color palette reminiscent of Southern California, this was a complete identity overhaul. From verbal and visual to an online presence and unique apparel, it was time to shred outside of the comfort zone and escape the ordinary.

We developed a unique verbal identity that showcased Frankie and June as more than just a retail shop. They're a community. They champion individuality in a colorful & vibrant way. Here, surfers and sea goers find new experiences, new waves, new dawns, and new friends.

The typemark had to be groovy without trying to be something it wasn’t, keeping the Frankie & June combo clever and modern.
